65th Anniversary of the Battle of Alamein - 24th October 2007

A commemoration was held in the presence of Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall at the memorial in Thetford Forest.

At this event it was formally announced that Her Royal Highness had become the Patron of Memorial Association.

Open Day 2008

This year's open day and reunion for all Desert Rats past and present from the 7th Armoured Division, and from the 4th and 7th Armoured Brigades, will be held on Sunday 22nd June 2008, at the Memorial at High Ash.

Orwell Park Reunion 2008

This year's reunion will take place on Saturday, 13th September. (Due to llimited space this event is by invitation only)

Remembrance Sunday 2008

The Memorial Association will be present at the memorial on Sunday 9th November 2009 and a service will be held at the Memorial in Thetford Forest. The Service will start promptly at 2pm.

A member of the Association will be in attendance at the memorial from 11.00am that morning to help with private wreath laying.
