Veterans by the Memorial

The Band of 901 Troop Royal Marine Cadets form up for the service and the crowd assembles.

Mr Rod Scott, Chairman of the Memorial Association welcomes everyone to the memorial, before the march down of the veterans and the start of the service.

The lone piper plays a lament.

The lone pipe plays the lament "The Flowers of the Forest" as he slow marches into the woods. This is one of the most moving parts of the service for many there!.
